INVISIBLE® Acoustic Plaster
#ededed
INVISIBLE® Acoustic Plaster finish is a uniquely smooth noise dampening material coating to be used with acoustic boards. The microporous acoustical plaster is produced from vulcanized perlite. Its highly absorbent qualities allow for optimum acoustic control in a wide range of environments. Due to acoustic board’s elasticity and flexibility, INVISIBLE® Acoustic Plaster solution can be applied virtually on any surface including straight and curved ceilings and walls. Thus, compared to traditional acoustic solutions, such as suspended ceilings and acoustic panels, it provides new possibilities and more freedom to architects and designers.
Available INVISIBLE Acoustic Plaster Finishes:
Extra smooth: An extra-smooth, fine grain super white finish. Sanded or trowelled to achieve a highly aesthetic acoustic solution. Standard colour: Super white.
Smooth: A smooth medium grain finish available in pure white to suit design requirements. Standard colour: Pure white.
Standard color is NCS S 0300-N / RAL 9016. The system can be supplied in a choice of any RAL or NCS color options on request.
All the common painting and plastering machineries are suitable to spray INVISIBLE® Acoustic Plaster. The installation process is quick and easy. There are three different installation methods:
1. Direct installation
The acoustic board is installed directly onto a plasterboard, concrete or timber substrate with either approved adhesive or mechanically fixed with fade® Special Washers.
2. Direct-to-grid
The acoustic board is installed directly to a MF metal drywall grid system 400mm (15 3/4”) c/c or similar with the fade® Special Washers.
3. Acoustic spray
The acoustic plaster is sprayed directly onto a primed plasterboard or concrete substrate to a total thickness of 3mm (1/8”)
Suitable Substrates:
Regular gypsum wallboard, MF metal drywall grid system 400mm (15 3/4″) c/c or similar, concrete, previously painted substrates, timber/steel frame.
INVISIBLE® Acoustic Plaster solution can be applied on virtually any surface including straight and curved walls. By absorbing sound waves, the solution reduces reverberation time, providing the highest level of sound-absorption.
The acoustic classification for INVISIBLE® Acoustic Plaster is determined by the layer thickness. The NRC’s can be as high as 1.0.
Fire class:
A2-s1, d0.
Sound absorption:
Class B (INVISIBLE® 25 mm)
NRC: 0.80
Sound absorption:
Class A (INVISIBLE® 40 mm)
NRC: 0.90
Resistance to Humidity:
No visible changes when exposed to RH 80% and 100% in 40°C
Resistance to Growth of Mold:
Below 70% RH no growth as per ASTM D3273-16.
Exposure to UV-light:
No visible changes after 1000 hours
Finishes available:

INVISIBLE® Acoustic Plaster solution is a great choice for the fast-growing open ceiling design trend. Its highly absorbent qualities
allow for optimum acoustic control in large, commercial spaces as well as leisure and hospitality spaces. Fields of application include
everything from large office spaces to small living rooms, restaurants, showrooms & galleries, schools, and much more.
Our acoustic plaster is made from natural but inorganic ingredients. With the acoustic plaster being inorganic it is extremely resistant to UV exposure and changes in colour over time.
Microorganisms cannot grow in the acoustic plaster system. The system is odour free and highly resistant to humidity.
With the acoustic plaster system being extremely flexible it can be installed on both ceilings and walls, dramatic angles and arching domes.
